Provide Field Services in 1st Level support to external and internal customers with a combination of responsibilities listed under any activity areas given below (refer key accountabilities section)
The main role of Junior Voice Service Engineer is to perform various easy technical activities related to porting, connection and disconnection of circuits.
Inside the Service Engineer job family, PROs have more skills domains and work experience than SPAs and work in a much more independent way and perform more complex activities than SPAs.
Ability to work in a global environment and provide reliable technical support to various internal functions in the organization as well as to customers.
Ability for endurance to study new voice technology
Ability to work in (virtual) team environment with internal and external organisations
Ability to handle technical as well as various administrative & coordinative activities as required & applicable for the location.
Ability to communicate effectively and escalate with other carriers.
Fundamental knowledge in MS Exel, Word and Powerpoint.
3-5 years professional experience

Basic Knowledge in Networks
- Voice/Data Network protocols.
- Interfaces BRI, PRI, RS232, Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet
- Network synchronization
Basic Hardware knowhow:
- Italtel, Sun, IBM, HP, Cisco, Huawei and/or Accanto
Basic Software knowhow
- Windows, LINUX
Basics in Voice Services
- Datatransmission
- Number porting
Communication Skills: Ability to work in a matrix and multicultural environment.
Language: English and local language required fluently
PC skills: Knowhow on MS Outlook
