Overall Experience (in yrs.)

7-9 Years of experience in Windows Server administration

Windows:

Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

· Maintain Windows 2008 R and upgrades, patches.

· Maintain and Administer AD (Windows 2008R2)

· Maintain and Administer Microsoft Cluster solutions.

· Working knowledge on SSCM and SCOM

· Understanding of IBM TSM/EMC Networker tool set.

· Knowledge of maintaining Antivirus management servers

· Able to use SCCM Collection to push the packages, patches

· Troubleshooting skills with Windows Servers, SCCM

· Good scripting knowledge using PowerShell, CLI

· Understanding of VMWare virtualization technologies

· Understanding of Storage technologies

Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)

· Knowledge of administering HP/Dell/IBM System X infrastructure.

· Knowledge of Microsoft Azure technology.

Language skills needed

Area of responsibilities

· Data Centre Managements and should be ready to support during business hours and on-call support.

· Responsible for Windows architecture and design for 24x7x365 global operation.

· Maintain Windows 2008 R and upgrades, patches.

· Maintain and Administer AD (Windows 2008R2)

· Maintain and Administer Microsoft Cluster solutions.

· Troubleshoot and fix McAfee Agent, Network related and Vulnerability issues.

· Responsible for Monthly MS Windows OS Patch testing and share the feedback.

· Responsible for Quarterly OS image testing provided by Architect team.

· Server Performance issue and Performance monitor enabling.

· Drive Problem Management activities for RCA analysis and preventive actions

· Create and publish knowledge base articles and contribute to knowledge management activities in the service.

· Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts, it is essential to have hands-on experience in one of the Automation Platforms like SALTSTACK, Ansible, and Jenkins.

Linux:

Technical skills (Required - Mandatory)

SuSE Linux, Redhat Linux

Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)

· Strong experience in Server OS Administration

· Extensive knowledge on all types of Unix / Linux Flavors

· In-depth experience in implementing an end-to-end fully secure High Availability Server environment

· Experience on Upgrades, Migrations, Performance Tuning and advanced Root cause analysis

· Should be proficient in scripting

· Should be proficient in Automation solutions

· Good to have hands-on experience in one of the Automation Platforms (SaltStack, Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

Language skills needed

English, German

Should be able to work with colleagues from different cultures and drive L1/L2 colleagues.

· Plan & execute OS version upgrades, OS Migrations, Server build, Application specific configuration and Cluster setup

· Lead the team in client meetings

· Troubleshoot & resolve incidents with stringent SLA

· Provide on-call support during non-business hours as needed

· Engage in Problem management process for root cause determination & permanent corrective action

· Support the team in resolving critical technical issues during crisis situations

· Act as a single point of ownership for the Customer solution during Critical Incidents

· Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts

· Create and publish knowledge base articles and contribute to knowledge management activities in the service

· Bring in Automation solutions in the project

· Provide training on Technology or Process to Team

· Writing solutions / estimates for Request For Proposals

· Implement automations for significant reduction in manual efforts through Automation platforms
