Role: BigFix Support Engineer
Location: Berlin, Germany
Start date: immediate
Duration of Project: 4 months
Language requirement: Fluent English ( German is good to have)

Skills Required:
BigFix experience, some Windows 10 experience (installation, troubleshooting) and understand VBScripting (not hugely indepth but enough that if they have a script break, they can narrow down the issue.).

Day to day tasks:

Every 12 hours, The DTE will be running a script via IBM’s IEM Big Fix Tool that will scan a set of machines and return the following info:
1. Has the user downloaded the Win10 WIM file.
2. If so, the DTE will kick off the install remotely of the Win10 upgrade via script.
3. The DTE will then organize the information that comes back in on the current status for several thousand machines and sync that information up with the project coordinators and PM.
4. The DTE should also be familiar with Win10 and how to troubleshoot basic things like login, application launching, is it installed “correctly”, is it the correct version number (1909) etc.
5. Track computers with issues and explain those issues via spreadsheet to the PM. We don’t expect a lot of issues since it’s a minor upgrade, but they could still occur.
6. Nice to Have: Good Excel skills as if the DTEs can format the data consistently and based upon a template.
