Data Engineer - 6 Month Contract

One of the top software Tech startups in Berlin is looking for a Freelance Data Engineer to join them on a 6 month contract.

THE ROLE:
- Working on real time data on a daily basis, data is growing everyday at a significant rate so improving the data platform by using data engineering techniques is essential
- Real time processing - preferably Spark or Airflow
- Engaging with data scientists and data analysts internally
- Automating data pipelines

TASKS:
- Conceive and implement Data pipelines in AWS
- Ensure data quality and consistency
- Collaborate with Data Team to get access to new datasets and ensure usability of data
- Consult with analysts and business users to build and continuously improve a variety of data products that create value for the business.
- Develop all necessary automated reports for teams to perform and be the go-to person for any data question
