Migration Manager (m/w/d) BSS/OSSFor our customer in Luxembourg we are looking for a Migration Manager (m/f/d) at the earliest possible date.
Start: asap
Location: Luxembourg
Workload: 5 days/week (no remote possible)
Duration: 3 month +
You will work in an international Team in Luxembourg City and English is project language. French or German are considered an advantage.
Deep understanding of BSS/OSS, successful deployment of a recent BSS project and strong experience of Telco operator and systems around BSS and OSS are expected.
Your role includes:
• Leading on the data migration needs for the new solution
• Overseeing and ensuring delivery of all aspects of data analysis, mapping and transfer
• Owning the quality of the migrated data and the validity of the migration processes and
operation
• Identifying the data migration impact of all proposed changes
• Reviewing gaps and proposing a solution for data migration during the solution design phase
• Devise and get approval for the data migration strategy for the implementation
• Oversee and ensure the production of a mapping matrix for all data, ensure a gap analysis for
any missing or archive data
• Reviewing data quality and putting in place plans to address any required data quality
improvements
• Oversee and ensure the building of intermediate database creation scripts
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in Data Migration preferably
• Degree preferably in an Engineering related subject or equivalent
• Proven data migration expertise
• Experience with large scale technology infrastructure implementations and migrations
• Solid understanding of computing platforms, operating systems and computer networking
• High level understanding of application architecture, shared services, interfaces and database
systems
• Experience in the telecommunications industry and understanding of telecom BSS / OSS
