Freelance Position for L3 IT Support analyst• Start Date - January 2020
• Contract Duration - 1 year
• Location - Zurich, Switzerland
We’re looking for a IT support analyst to:
• Contribute your expertise of VDI environments including XenDesktop, Citrix PVS, Citrix StoreFront, AppSense, VMware vSphere, VMware vRops, VMware AppVolumes, Numecenttosolve complex desktop issues
• Provide global support for the Windows distributed infrastructure
• Define workarounds for known errors and work with different teams to resolve
• Regular verbal and written communication with business partners and other support teams
• Define workarounds for known errors and initiate process improvements
• Proficiency in writing knowledge base articles for Level 1 & 2 teams
Your expertise
• A university degree computer science, management information systems or professional certifications
• Technology experience in multiple infrastructure technologies, such as Citrix Netscaler, Citrix XenDesktop, Citrix PVS, Citrix StoreFront, AppSense, VMware vSphere, VMware vRops, VMware AppVolumes, Numecent, Atlantis USX/ILIO
• Possess knowledge and experience in the area of advanced Windows platform troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (event logs, procmons, process explorer)
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory concepts
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on business requirements
• Powershell scripting or experience coding for automation (optional)
• Analytical and logical (you can solve problems like nobody’s business)
• An excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, fluent in English
• Result-oriented and assertive (you don’t shy away from challenging situations)
• Ability and confidence to interface with Senior IT Management/Senior Business Leaders
• Methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail
• Motivated, self-directed and driven
