I am currently looking for an MES Consultant to join a team in South-East France on an 18-month project. The company, who is a global IT consultancy is looking for someone to start ASAP.Below I have attached the job description for your consideration:
Job description:
• Manage and support Manufacturing Execution Systems that connect, monitor and control complex manufacturing systems and data flows on the factory floor.
• Assist & manage shop floor applications, via coordination with offshore team.
• Resolve customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment
• Assist with improved production management and visibility
• Manage wing-to-wing ticket responses including, but not limited to, backlog reduction, recurring case prevention (ticket reduction), closure code, and appropriate priority setting, RCA using RTS processes.
• Manage and resolve production incidents. Covers system outages, job failures, system defects, data defects and end user support.
• Provide "Break Fix" solutions by fixing appropriate software code.
