We are currently recruiting for a Lead Security Engineering home based with some travel to Edinburgh and head office in Berkshire on a contract basis for our Multinational Telecommunications Client.The ideal candidate must have at least 5-7 years of experience in Lead Security Engineer.
You will be working as an architect and subject matter expert, working within the wider Cyber Defence team to deliver a range of security related activities within the Customers environment.
The role includes delivering security related projects from initial high and low level design through build, test and migration phases. You will be visiting the site to facilitate project definition and delivery. You will preparing network and security infrastructure documentation using appropriate tools (e.g. MS Visio) and supporting the deployment and test of new network and security infrastructure components .
The ideal candidate will have proven technical skills, to be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in;
o Palo Alto (PAN) firewalls (essential)
o HA
o VPN
o IPS
o F5 (LTM and GTM)
* Experience working within large corporate grade network deployments including hands-on familiarity with routers, switches, WAP, MPLS, etc.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical)
* Experience participating in network & system security projects to provide:
o Business requirements analysis and support for Solutions Architects
o Production of detailed infrastructure designs including physical and virtual aspects of security components
