As this project will be feasible only in English, please find following the English project description:I am currently looking for a data scientist (m/w/d) for a pharmaceutical client in the rhine-main-area. The project is suppose to start in the beginning of July for 1 year. It is a full-time project with 50 % home-office possibilty.
Your tasks:
- Primary point of contact and expert of IDBS ELN Spreadsheet technology for global R&D
- Establish a global framework for the development of future templates as well as governance of ELN Spreadsheet validation and use
- Provide technical expertise to develop existing and future templates for global R&D scientists
- Become the technical expert in Global ELN (IDBS) specifically ELN Spreadsheet and Workflow development)
- Lead design, implementation, validation and maintenance of ELN Spreadsheet/Automation
- Engage with user-base to understand business requirements, develop of process maps and translate to implementation and configuration of detailed automated laboratory data workflows
Your profile:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field e.g. data science, information technology, science, computer science or software Engineering
- Experience in IDBS applications is a plus (e.g. ELN, IDBS Spreadsheets)
- Experience in R&D with a strong knowledge in implementation and/or development of scientific software applications/data science Tools
- Experience in Laboratory data Management
- Experience in software/e-solution development is a plus
- Experience of working and/or willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team is desirable
- Strong business analyst skills
- Knowledge of data standards, data integrity guidelines and governance
