Beschreibung
The Resident Engineer assigned to ’s site 8 working hours per day, Monday to Friday, excluding regional holidays observed by Customer. Services to be provided by the Resident Engineer will be dependent upon ’s needs, but would typically fall into the categories listed below. Resident Engineers will be selected for their background and experience in performing the required activities.Activities performed by the Resident Engineer would include;
Operations, Administration, Maintenance and Provisioning (OAMP)
a. Analyze, review and recommend configuration information
b. Analyze network traffic flow
c. Recommend modifications as appropriate and assist with implementation of modifications
d. Implement and test Customer products such as new hardware or upgraded software
e. Configure hardware and software for full functionality
f. Implement and administer network management platform
Troubleshooting
a. Diagnose and isolate faults and remedy Customer equipment failures
b. Assist with communication, consultation, coordination, escalation and leadership to address major problems
Informal Training/Mentoring
a. Transfer of knowledge to employees via hands-on technical network assistance. The knowledge transfer will focus on the day-to-day activities, installation and troubleshooting of Customer equipment. The knowledge transfer is intended to augment Customer formal fee-based training.
Liaison to Customer support
a. Act as the liaison between operations personnel and Customer End customer support, including the Service Account Management team and engineering staff.
