For my client I am looking for a network architect (1 year)The consulting services include, inter alia, the following:
• Advising the Customer in relation to the project “moveIT” (Datacenter Migration to Azure and on-premise Datacenter with Infosys as Datacenter provider) such as providing advice on network concepts, network troubleshooting and analyzing and gathering of network communication relationships.
• Providing general advice regarding the planned migration, for instance for switching the APN’s in the existing Essen tkE Datacenter to the new Infosys datacenter and provide advice for the preparation of the migration with the APN providers.
• Providing advice in supporting the Customer with creation of Visio drawings, COM-matrixes and any other visualization of network topics.
• Providing advice in the planning for the off-hours migration activities like server migrations and implementation of new network technologies such as reverse proxy or VPN-solutions.
• Providing advice in order to prepare network related workshops with business stakeholders and service providers.
The consultants being utilized by the Provider should have at least the following experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience working in designing, analyzing and planning of enterprise network environments like global networks, datacenters and site networks (e.g. headquarters or plants).
• Strong knowledge in the following network topics:
• Firewalls (Rulesets, Zoning, Cloud FWs, COM-Matrix and Next Gen Firewalling)
• Networking (at least CCNA & CCDA certification or equivalent)
• Analyzing (good skills with well-known network analyzing tools e.g. Nmap)
• Project will require the consultant to travel within the operating unit Europe Africa
• Fluent English and German
• Primary Project Location is in Neuhausen, Germany, project duration approximately 12 months
