- Maintain and evolve elements of the cryptographic and special purpose security infrastructure
- Evaluate and introduce state-of-the-art technical security solutions in order to meet new and upcoming business requirements
- Actively participate or drive key exchange processes with external or internal parties
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of policies, standards and processes in the area of crypto implementations
- Support other security related core processes of our Team including on-call duty
- Support audit activities in the area of crypto infrastructure and encryption key management
- Consult the business units for all processes and technical solutions in your area of duties in close alignment with IT Security, Governance and Compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or other relevant field
- Strong background on information security technology like next-gen firewalling & encryption technology
- Working knowledge of Operating Systems (Linux, Windows), databases and of networking fundamentals (switching, routing, load-balancing) as well as basic Cloud implementation experience
- Ability to quickly familiarise with challenging and new environments
- Good understanding of virtualization and software-defined data center concepts
- Willingness to constantly build up your skillset using a mix of self-motivated and course based learning environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
