Our client a global oil and gas organisation is looking for a Contract Coordinator to join their team in London on an initial 6 month contract basis with potential extensions.The candidate will be responsible to draft, review and send spot and term sales & purchase contracts in close liaison with Commercial Advisors ensuring that they accurately reflect the terms agreed by traders as recorded in the deal capture system. Review and respond to non-standard counterparty contracts which may require directly seeking advice from the trader and the Commercial Advisor. To draft all deal amendments in a timely manner.
The candidate must ideally have relevant experience in energy /commodity trading or shipping environment in a legal/para-legal or contract administration role. Must have a flexible approach and be commercially orientated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of critically review contracts to identify issues and exposures and to draft constructive responses to mitigate or remove such exposures.
