Role Summary/Purpose:Lead development and validation projects for cutting edge, highly integrated, emissions control solutions for our entire range of fuels and applications to support our development of world class environmental and climate protection
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engineering lead for emission control technologies for our reciprocating engines working closely with; controls, performance, design, mechanical and systems engineers
- Plan and execute experiments on components, sub-systems, and complete engines in a laboratory environment or on engines in the field
- Lead projects, identify risks and mitigation actions & plan work packages to deliver agreed results to time & budget
- Document complex data and conclusions in technical reports and present findings in technical reviews
- Collaborate internationally with technology and commercial partners inside/outside our Customers
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor / Master's degree (or equivalent) in in chemical or Mechanical Engineering or similar specialization
- Several years' experience with engines and/or after treatment
- Distinct analytical working method and able to independently develop solutions
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills
Desired Characteristics: - Experience with state of the art emissions measurement technologies
- Understanding of related controls requirements
- You are comfortable in an international environment and have strong oral and written communication skills preferably in both English and German
- Willingness to travel
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach to the application)
