Zscaler Technical Specialist (m/w/d) ID13085
Laufzeit: 21.01.2019 - 30.06.2019
Volumen: 450 Stunden onsite , 450 Stunden remote,

Tasks:
- Act as the Zscaler technical authority
- Support the network architects in ensuring the Zscaler environment is operating optimally
- As part of the change management process, review all proposed production changes by the 3rd-party infrastructure providers to ensure no negative impact to the Zscaler environment
- Under the guidance of the programme manager, collaborate with the network architecture team in the development and evolution of the network roadmap and strategy
- Provide expert guidance on request to other members of the network team
- Represent the network team in high-priority issue resolution efforts, using expert knowledge to guide the 3rd-party providers where necessary.
The role will be based in Hannover, Germany, and only candidates with the relevant EU work permits can be considered for this role.
Skills:
Mandatory
- Minimum 5 years’ demonstrable experience designing, supporting and troubleshooting Zscaler systems in a production enterprise environment
- Experienced in web based security & network infrastructure, Security Proxies, such as NGFW, SSL/IPSec VPNs, and Firewalls
- ZCCP certified, both IA and PA
- Previous experience working with 3rd-party outsourced providers
- Able to describe in detail the practical issues encountered, and how these were overcome
- Understands the likely constraints of ZScaler when deployed at scale
- Understands the role of ZScaler in an SD-WAN environment
- University bachelor’s degree in a technical IT-related subject
Preferred;
- German speaking
- Cisco certified
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
- Skilled in creation of high-quality documentation and presentations
- Adaptable, able to deliver and function effectively in a fluid environment with minimal supervision, while adhering to guidance from management
- Assertive, able to drive supplier performance while maintaining good working relationships
- Willingness to travel to other locations if required
- Experience of working in a challenging environment where tact, diplomacy, excellent relationship management and communication skills are critical to positively influence relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to handle multiple parallel tasks and adapt to an agile culture
- Ability to raise risks and issues in a timely manner to the right people at the right time
- Ability to actively chair and run technical meetings to achieve results, including note-taking
- Excellent at building and influencing a wide network of stakeholders
- Strong experience working within virtual teams
- Able to produce high-quality documentation
- Methodical approach to delivery, bias towards innovative and proactive problem-solving
- Forward-looking, able to identify and solve problems at a very early stage
