Ribbon Expert wanted for our Zurich and Bern based client in the telecommunication sector.Your experience/skills:
- Expertise in Ribbon (formerly Genband) Products and Features, including AS (Release Revolution .x), GMS (Release 10.2), GVM (Release 4.0.x +), RMS (Release 9.3.8.x), Q20 / Q21 (Release 9.3.8.x +), C3 / G9 (Release 18 and 20) and C2k (CVM17) as a plus
- Strong understanding in IT and Telecommunications
- Know-how of tools for event monitoring like Netcool or Incinga-Nagios
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is advantageous
Your tasks:
- Monitoring the Ribbon environment, its interfaces and subsystems, providing operational support of the Ribbon products as well as analysing, tracing and troubleshooting of incidents or problems
- Maintaining surveillance over events with Netcool / Incinga-Nagios / or a platform specific tool along with managing incidents and tracking with ITSM (ticket tool) and Ribbon Customer Support (Web based)
- Planning and executing periodical preventive maintenance activities for the platform with consideration to capacity and performance topics
- Establishing automation of operational processes, handling and cleaning-up of alarms, updating operational documents, providing work reports and also implementing and testing configuration changes
- Supporting on the periodic SW- / HW-Updates as well as managing Oracle SBC products and features
