MES Engineer

Location: Stockholm

Start: 1st of November

Duration: Long-term project (6-12 month)

Language: English, Swedish or German

We are looking for an MES (manufacturing execution system) Engineer on a consultant (freelancer) base for our client in the medical industry. The project is in Stockholm but our client has sites in Germany, therefore you will communicate a lot with the German team.

The job:

As part of our global MES team you will pro-actively work with individuals and cross functional teams to define and support MES requirements and operations

· Support and manage projects striving for deeper integration of the current MES solution with production and automation systems

· Responsible for implementation of changes to the MES environment and ensure proper Change Management

· Maintain site-specific systems and technical solution documentation

· Collaboration with local and global IT and business functions

· Available for on call support

What we expect?

· Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Computer Science/Integrated Manufacturing or similiar

· Profound knowledge and solid experience with MES systems (e.g. Werum PAS-X)

· Understanding of configuration, setup, scripting, protocols around of scales and mobile terminals

· Knowledge MS Operating Systems and Oracle DB

· Knowledge of active directory, DNS, IP networks and virtualization

· Experience with ERP interfacing (e.g. SAP) or other level 4 solutions is a plus.

· Experience with interfacing along ISA-95 system (ERP-MES-SCADA) under usage of middleware solutions is a plus.

· Good English skills (written and spoken) and communication skills
