Associate Scientist with profound cell biology knowledge wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- University degree in life sciences with major field of study in cell biology or biochemistry
- 3+ years working experience with cell-based assays as well as immunoassays by preference in an industrial setting
- Ideally in-depth experience of working under GxP
- Skillset in communication and team work
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Working in several project teams in a laboratory within Biologics Technical Development and Manufacturing that performs bioanalytical assays in order to characterize biopharmaceuticals in clinical development
- Developing, validating and executing various bioanalytical methods to assess the biological activity such as potency and purity of biopharmaceuticals
- Performing release analytics of drug substances and drug products for human use under GMP as well as supporting manufacturing process development
- Working field requires a range of bioanalytical methods, including target binding assays, cell-based potency assays, immunoassays and PCR-based assays
