ADAS SYSTEM ENGINEER
Mission:
Developing innovative and safety-critical systems and components for driver assistance systems. Development of the ADAS functions (either cameras, radars, laser scanners, steering angle, …), based on customer needs
Definition of the system behavior and the sensor performance in cooperation with the development department and the customer
Responsible for system function analysis of the requirements for the driver assistance system, the functions and sensor
· Technical leadership / coordination for dedicated functions during the development phase
· Requirement Engineering and derive the system requirements from the customer requirements
· Identification and definition of the main features and performance (KPIs) for the ADAS functions
· Analysis of the link of the component properties (sensor, brakes, steering) on system performance
· Development of solution concepts in coordination with Hardware and Software development
· Coordination of open points and requirements with internal departments (eg. Mechanics, HW, SW or Functional Safety)
· Testing and providing of prototypes of the function. Trouble shooting of system integration with prototype vehicles and the series production
· Change Management
Skills
University Degree in the field of engineering (electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or equivalent education)
· At least 3 years of experience in embedded system development, system engineering or design
· Automotive experience in the range of driver assistance systems (cameras, radar, laser scanner, steering angle, …)
· Knowledge in Software development (eg. model based with Matlab+Simulink) and Algorythms development
· Programming knowledge in C / C ++
· Good knowledge of requirements management & Analysis tools e.g. DOORS, CANoe, ADTF, …)
· Knowledge in the field of AUTOSAR, Linux, and vehicle networks (CAN, FlexRay, Ethernet)
· Fluent in English and preferably good French skills
· Ability to work in a team, target-oriented and structured way of working, high degree of self-initiative and communication skills.
