Database Administrator Expert with profound Azure, SQL Server and Oracle knowledge wanted for our Bern based client in the telecommunication sector.Your experience/skills:
- Profound education, such as vocational training or university degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years' working experience in Database Administration with Data Engineering and Data Management
- Background in Application Operation and ICT Service Operation
- Deep knowledge of MS-SQL , Oracle 9 - 12 and SQL on Azure
- Languages: fluent French and English both written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Performing database monitoring for processes, objects and reports as well as repair actions on faulty databases
- Managing database objects coupled with planning and monitoring Database Usage and Integrity
- Implementing, maintaining and operating distributed databases
- Preparing and executing backup, reorganisation and restart procedures
- Troubleshooting when using database systems
