Big Data Engineer with profound Splunk, Arcsight and ELK knowledge wanted for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Bachelor degree in information technology or computer science
- 3+ years' experience in Log management and big data platforms, such as Splunk, Arcsight and ELK
- Proficiency in Splunk, creating dashboards and custom add-ons along with knowledge of statistics
- Competent handling of ETL process and data processing (log data) coupled with integrate systems
- Good command of Python and JavaScript with the ability to write complex regular expressions
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Analysing requirements, creating technical solutions and test plans
- Collaborating with architects, business analysts and engineers to ensure compatibility of the proposed technical solutions with the companies environment
- Developing configuration code and scripts for integration with other components
- Building and testing solutions in a lab environment as well as documenting test results, designs, and operational manuals
- Providing 3rd level support to Production operations teams as necessary
