Data Center Engineer - Infrastructure / Electrical / Cabling - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Engineer for a major financial services company.Your experience/skills:
- Large Data Center environments is a must (mechanical, electrical, data cabling and IT hardware)
- Work experience in complex infrastructure facilities as well as know-how of common power strips and connectors used in Data Center environments
- Capability of testing and troubleshooting server hardware, general IT hardware and network patch cables combined with knowledge of ServiceNow and Microsoft Office
- Background in performing rack, stack, and modification of servers, further enterprise-class HW experience is a plus
- Awareness of secure media handling procedures and tools for enforcing data protection requirements as well as familiarity with ITIL or similar service frameworks
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken

- Planning, evaluating and integrating technical infrastructure solutions
- Ensuring secure infrastructure environment as well as production performance and stability
- Analysing errors in systems and determining corrective measures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for global IT solutions
