Windows Architect - Infrastructure / Desktop - PowerShell - This is a long term contract opportunity for an experienced Technical Architect with extensive Windows experience to join a global financial services company.Your experience/skills:
- 6+ years Windows Architecture experience
- Excellent knowledge of Windows 7/8/10 Client Deployment, Management and Windows Group Policy Management
- Practical knowledge and experience in Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch, Microsoft Office Suite 2013 / Office 365 Click-2-Run and Office 365
- PowerShell know-how
- Familiarity with Windows 10 Servicing options, including Semi-Annual (Targeted), LTSB and feature stack
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Change Management processes along with sense of Azure cloud technologies and services as well as Agile and Dev-Ops principals
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Performing prototyping, proofs of concept, technology and product evaluation related to Windows 10
- Ensuring business requirements documentation and properly handling of scope changes as well as detailed design documentation
- Outlining and clarifying dependencies to other technology areas like Azure and Office 365
- Following Digital Workplace and service design best practices as well as ensuring user experience is in line with architectural designs and covered within the requirements
- Aiming for flexible technology implementation for fast adoption and flexibility for changes
