Connect44 are currently recruiting for a Datacom Engineer for an upcoming project in Germany. This role is a contract role, with potential to go permanent in future. The roles responsibilities are outlined below, if you could be interested and holding relevant experience, please don't hesititate to apply.
Main Responsibilities
- Definition of standard external & internal procedures for MESN(Metro Ethernet Switch Network) Network Planning and OM based on customer requirements, especially consider the offshore delivery
- External and internal interface for project coordination
- Manage & review the results of all defined planning procedures
- Detail workflow for the process, every input/outpurt/Analysis/templet..etc
- Knowledge transfer of all MESN planning and OM planning process to other colleagues
- Investigate, isolate and drive problems reported by customer to a closure
- Documentation in customer documentation & provisioning systems
- Cleansing of documentation errors in alignment with customer
- Update of commissioning & assembly lists
Requirements
- Diploma in Telecommunication or Electrical/Electronic Engineering or minimum 2 years practical experience in supporting or deploying Datacom and Broadband project;
- Knowledge of Networking Technologies such as Ethernet, TCP/IP, VOIP, xDSL, ATM, MPLS and L2/L3 VPN;
- Problem diagnosis and resolution skills are essential;
- Experience in other telecom vendor is priority;
- Certificate holder of CCNP/CCIE or similar is an advantage;
- Fluency in English/Germany;
- Autonomous, strong learning and team cooperation ability;
- Able to travel in Germany;
