Project environment
A global Swiss Bank is looking for a Business Analyst with MiFID and asset management background.
The "Operations Change Group" (OCG) is a global service delivery oriented organization that operates as a center of expertise and is responsible for the delivery of the change portfolio across Group Operations. OCG is actively managing, in close collaboration with other units, the entire project delivery lifecycle from pre-inception phase to ultimate project/program execution. The overall aim of the Operations Change Group will be to consistently deliver high quality, effective and highly competitive change management services to its business partners across the firm.
The successful candidate will join the existing OCG functional pool organization, managing 2 projects and facing off to multiple project/program stakeholders across Group Operations.

1st project (50%): SRI - MiFID II // Business Analyst for Gap Analysis Review

Main responsibilities
• Review the findings report on level 1 established by Global AM MiFID Project team and confirms Operations gap or elaborate if no gap. The document contains 205 pages
• Work to be done in 3rd quarter
• Participate in Level 2 gap analysis workshops (start beginning of August)
• Participate in AM MiFID project meetings. Liaise with EMEA locations

Required expertise / knowledge
• Knows the asset management business and the operations part
• Excellent English in speaking and writing
• Works independent and easy liaise with people in the bank
• Is used to work for regulatory project, knowhow of MiFID I/MiFID II would help

2nd project (50%): SRI - Derivatives Reform (Post-Trade) // Derivs Reform Post Trade Business Analyst for Global AM

Main responsibilities
• Working closely with the Front Office, Middle Office and Operations IT teams, Compliance, IT and other project groups
• Stakeholder management
• Ability to scope, define and manage IT delivery to implement enhanced post trade/transaction reporting infrastructure
• Specific tasks will include business analysis, requirements gathering, preparation of Functional Integration Tests, QA of new functionality, user training and implementation management
• Contribute to and help drive the strategy for the Transaction Reporting technology platform
Required expertise / knowledge
• Global Asset Management know how appreciated

Requirements
• Work Experience: Minimum 3 Years
• Scope and complexity of role: A variety of standard and non-standard activities for a team or a certain area as experts and/or as supervisors
• Administrative or professional work and keeping processes and data up-to-date
• Span of Control: Typically manage a small team
• As line managers, they are responsible for results-oriented management. This includes: active employee management based on management principles
• Adherence to budget and compliance rules and to the relevant internal guidelines and legal provisions
• Supervision of daily operational business. They work within clearly defined processes, with sufficient leeway for their own input
• Organizational impact: Impact is mainly within the team as a proactive resource supporting change processes and procedures.

Technical skills
• Regulatory know-how (MIFID II)
• Able to write business specification
• Knows the asset management business and the operations part
• Excellent English in speaking and writing, German a plus
• Works independent and easy liaise with people in the bank

Soft skills
• "Get-it-done" and continuous improvement attitude
• A self-starter who can work on his own
