Network topology, including switching and routing design and IP addressing regarding WLAN networks
Access point configuration
Client device recommendations
Software protocols and feature configurations
Wireless LAN network management specifications
Wireless LAN security specifications
Recommended physical locations
Recommended access point power and channel settings
Antenna type, location, and orientation specifications
Power, mounting, and cabling specifications
For AP configurations Cisco Prime Templates will be created
For all 270 AP locations will be documented on floor plans
WLAN as part of the Design Document
Wireless Access Point Installation:
Configure (239) new indoor access points
Configure thirty (30) new outdoor access points
Providing a list of AP names, SN and positioning documentation for each AP to the cabling provider
Setting up a new 5508 WLC HA pair at the Neu-Ulm Data Center
Configure wireless VLANs throughout network switching infrastructure
Installing prime infrastructure
Execute test plan included in the implementation plan
Documentation
Save electronic configuration
Passive Wireless Post Site Survey:
(A passive wireless post survey will be performed to determine the wireless coverage in the facility.)
Perform the coverage survey by walking the applicable, readily available floor space, with a laptop running the AirMagnet Surveyor application to determine the coverage strength.
Document and present the findings of passive wireless site survey including suggestions for remediation, if necessary.
