This role is critical to ensure, a profitable and accelerated growth of the German loan business. The pricing manager will lead the process to develop and implement pricing strategies across the OM, ECM and top up business. She/he will provide thought leadership to key functions as strategic analytics, P+L SA and risk management and will ensure x-functional work from A-Z. Key customer of the pricing manager is sales and it is a key target to provide them with a pricing which enables the aggressive growth plans. Of course it is a key purpose to enable growth within the company`s financial hurdles.

  • Monitor market and competitor pricing
  • Increase visibility of competitor´s risk based pricing and top up pricing
  • Understand the dynamics of risk based/fixed based pricing
  • Deep understanding of all risk parameters, policy rules, scorecard details in order to develop thorough risk based strategies
  • Act as the key counterpart for risk for all risk related topics. Provide steer to colleagues and commercial functions also outside of pricing projects
  • Develop pricing strategies based on market understanding and lead them through the governance process until implementation
  • Be proactive in developing pricing strategies/being reactive to price moves of competitors
  • Provide in particular thought leadership to all colleagues for the analytical work, based on the holistic understanding of all influencing parameters
  • Deep understanding of the analytical work and be able to challenge it
  • Set up pricing tests and test alternative pricing strategies to a risk based pricing
  • Provide steer to colleagues for the implementation of pricing strategies
  • Ensure proper monitoring and reporting
  • Provide pricing input into the planning cycles
  • Keep ongoing communications with the sales team on all relevant aspects

  • Solid understanding of the German consumer finance market
  • Strong analytical capabilities, best proven in a pricing function or a analytical function
  • Mid-term experience in working in the interface of analytical teams and the business/product management
  • Solid understanding of P&L management, excellent understanding of NPV models
  • Proven track record in working x-functional and showing strong intellectual capabilities in understanding processes/challenges across all functions
  • Ability to engage with a wide variety of people at all levels in the organisation and ability to build trusted relationships
  • Experienced matrix working
