Manning Global’s Client is a world renowned and global leading provider of communication devices with sales activities in more than 70 countries across 6 continents. For years, its name has been recognized and best known for quality and technology.

Our client is currently setting up a new business division and aiming to provide the next generation of innovative communications solutions.

On behalf of our client, Manning Global is currently look for:

Position Title: System Architect
Position Type: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Dusseldorf, Germany

Responsibilities:
- System architect our cloud based ecosystem (incl. devices and applications) getting the most of the automation, elasticity and efficiency offered by our service providers, development partners and in-house R&D.
- Ensure information security and reliability of our end-to-end solutions.
- Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations required for the evolution of our systems, devices and applications.
- Cooperate closely with development teams ensuring that new applications and devices are “cloud-ready” from day one.
- Support selection of vendors and partners, e.g. for cloud hosting, cloud solutions, device hardware/software and application frameworks.
- Provide guidance on strategic decisions incl. presentation of complex technical matters in accurate but easy-to-understand terms.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within our international architect community.

Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
- Master’s degree required.
- 5 years or longer dedicated experience in the area of system architecture.
- Alternatively, 10 year or longer of experience working with IP technologies from a development perspective.
- Dev/Ops experience and deep technical skills in software/hardware architecture and cloud computing.
- Good knowledge of Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in Internet services, alternatively IT organizations.
- Ability to draw and communicate the big picture (end-to-end system) while understanding the details.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a systematic and goal oriented work style.
- The ideal candidate would also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product and technical challenges.
- Self-motivated to keep up-to-date with technological developments and trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic programming knowledge of Java or Python.
- Fluency in English and ideally German language.
