For our client we are looking for a IT-Business Analyst (m/w).Start: asap
Duration: 6 MM (Extension possible)
Location: Düsseldorf
You main task:
- Be accountable for the relationship management with key local business managers to act as a liaison and point of contact for any queries and to elicit any potential requirements and change requests that may arise at the inception stage.
- Attend local Boards when agreed with the business and schedule regular meetings with business key managers.
- Understand key business priorities and their impact on IT strategy for the region/business area.
- Responsible for validating and prioritizing the demand with the business according to the rules defined at European level.
- Is responsible for the preparation of Business Cases to support business requirements.
- Liaise with other IT teams to hand over / escalate requests that are under their responsibility (ex: Project issues, Business complains on an issue resolution then contact relevant EU IT managers for escalation).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders at all levels to understand their problems and capture, define and agree business requirements, business process workflows.
- Ensure that business does express their requirements and do not ask upfront for a solution. Defining a solution to match requirements is IT's responsibility.
- Maximise the quality of the requirements gathered. Ensure qualification of each of the requirements and business process modification.
- Work towards the harmonization of platform and processes across Europe.
Skills/Experience:
- 5 years of Customer facing experience in a B2B environment as a Senior Consultant, Business Relationship Manager.
- At least 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst
Technical skills:
- ERP knowledge (SAP, Navision, Dynamics, Oracle etc.)
- CRM knowledge
- Business Processes Analysis knowledge
- Certified Business Analysis Professional is a plus
- MS Visio (or similar tool)
