Our client, a pharmaceutical company, is urgently looking for a German speaking Process Engineer to support remodelling and reconstruction projects on site.Location: East Germany
Duration: 12 months + (initial 3 month contract)
This role is to support and take on specific work packages within the ongoing projects.
Role and responsibilities:
Support the process design of a liquid plant installation (new and used equipment) as well as a dry powder plant installation.
Design work to include mechanical/process layouts; P&IDs; ISO Matrix; piping layout.
The processes and equipment involved include blending, mixing, filling, dosing, packaging, HVAC and cleanroom.
Contribute to troubleshooting for process-related problems.
Work as the client representative to manage external suppliers including design companies.
Responsible for tracking progress of the project and providing regular updates to client management.
Requirements:
Degree educated in Process, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Strong background in Process Engineering essential.
Proven experience within the pharmaceutical or food industry.
Must be able to work independently as a driving force to ensure timely delivery of projects.
Experience in design planning, execution, commissioning as well as a good understanding and know how in mechanical/process layouts (P&IDS/ISO Matrix is beneficial).
Good understanding of automation or electrical requirements.
Strong knowledge of piping including rooting and planning of layouts beneficial.
English language skills required, German language skills beneficial.
