Our Client is looking for a Security Operations Specialist who will be part of the Security Problem Management Team within Global IT Security.The role requires strong communication skills, to ensure that security problems are properly addressed with the respective problem owners.
The daily tasks include the identification of responsible remediation owners, initial communication, agreement and tracking of remediation plans.
Experience / Requirements:
- Security Experience in a technical or operational role of at least 2-3 security domains
- Expertise in system administration and security settings
- Expertise in firewalls technologies (rules, etc)
- Fundamentals of network and application security
- Strong knowledge in latest vulnerabilities, security trends and their effects on a large
corporate landscape
- Ability to do vulnerability assessment and risk management (policies, standards and
guidelines)
- Pen testing experience desirable
- Excellent verbal and written English skills

- Able to handle multiple tasks with careful attention to details
- Capable of working under pressure and with multiple teams across the globe/time zones
- Excellent communication, analytical and documentation skills at all levels
- Ability to work proactively and dynamically
- Effective problem solving skills to quickly assess the problem scope and possible solutions
Educational Background:
One or more of following certifications: CISSP, CISA, CCSP, CCNP, CWSA, CEPT, SANS
certifications (GCIH, GCIA, GCFW...), CCNA, CWNA, CEH, MCSE (or related certification on
an operating system), PMP, Prince2
