Field Installation Engineer
SDH, OSP, Fibre. Testing
My client is currently looking for an experienced Field Installation Engineer with experience in delivering network builds and points of presence, which involves implementation and physical installation of the required new OSP and ISP network with the assistance of approved suppliers.
The Field Installation Engineer will be required to do the necessary coordination and quality checks on the network and equipment sites. Also the Field Installation Engineer will make sure the service levels are met to maintain targets.
Experience required:
- Minimum of 10 years combined knowledge in OSP Telecoms environment with an OSP Engineering background.
- Experienced in Splicing & Testing,
- Fibre Characterisation
- Test Result Analysis,
- Civils Construction Build relating to the EMEA Telecoms arena
- Installation practices
- Advanced OTDR & ILM testing
