Location: Bayern, Germany (Munich)
Duration: 12 months+ Contract
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Operation of the central anti-virus platform for Servers and storage systems, including but not limited to:
o General administration of the Symantec infrastructure
o Infrastructure life cycle planning and capacity planning
o Provisioning, monitoring and maintenance
Provide outstanding customer service to all of Client Services customers
Troubleshoot and detect security issues, create incident tickets and manage problems until closure
Coordinate escalations and collaborate with internal technology teams to ensure timely resolution of issues
Key Skills:
Displays good verbal and written language skills in both German and English
Experience working with international multilingual teams
Demonstrates the Client Services Values of Clients First, Foresight and Teamwork in everything they do
Experience with design, architecture and implementation of services in the areas of anti-virus and intrusion prevention for server and storage environments
In-depth knowledge and experience with implementing and installing the following technologies:
o Antivirus Projects including installation
o Configuration and troubleshooting of Symantec SEPM, SIEM and SSIM
o Administration of Symantec Servers, appliances and distributed repositories.
o Configuring tasks, policies, scheduled scans and adding scan exclusions based on client's requirement
o Performing daily activities, monitoring and remediation of Servers for virus infections and threats
o Event logs monitoring and analysis
o Vulnerability assessment of critical application Servers
Qualifications:
Windows, VMware or Symantec certifications desired
