Desktop IT Support Engineer (German Speaker)
We are currently looking for an IT Support Engineer for our team in Nuremberg Germany. This will be a 6-12 months' freelance project with the potential of extensions.

Your area of responsibility:
- Performing 1st and 2nd level Desktop Services tasks
- Incident/Problem Management in case of IT disruptions
- Software distribution on Windows client devices
- Resource management in MS Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Ensures stable operation of the site-specific IT system (media technology, print, telephony, mobile communications, voice systems).
- Preparation of mass changes with direct user reference (rollouts, relocations, maintenance)
- Design and documentation of IT support processes and know-how transfer to colleagues
- Instruction and support of IT users in the use of office applications and workplaces
- Close cooperation with 2nd Level system operation, the departments and project teams
What you bring along:
- Good general knowledge in the IT environment through a computer science education or similar
- At least 3 years of professional experience in a desktop service function, ideally in a medium-sized, international company
- Deep detailed knowledge of the Microsoft product world in the office environment (MS Windows 10, MS Office, SharePoint, Lync etc.)
- Good technical knowledge of PC and notebook hardware
- Strong service awareness/strong customer orientation
- High degree of personal responsibility, independent work and team spirit for working in international joint teams
- Fluent German and English speaker
