Network Engineer (German Speaker)
We are currently looking for an Network for our team in Nuremberg Germany. This will be a 6-12 months' freelance project with the potential of extensions.

Major Accountabilities:
- Overall management of Network and Network operating systems including; Servers, SAN's, VMWare, Windows, file and print services, Domain Controllers, Exchange, Network Devices, VLAN's, Switches and Routers, Active Directory, IP Addressing, WAN and LAN services, Wireless Networks, Network Monitoring and reporting, Data Center capacity management and planning, Security management and reporting, Disaster recovery, Backups and recovery
- Install, configure, and maintain networks, network cabling, Routers (Cisco), Switches (Cisco and Juniper), Firewalls, and VPN access
- Including establishing network specifications, analysing network needs and issues, secure information, and security requirements; Switches/Router/Firewall administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
- Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and Intranet systems.
- Ensure network connectivity throughout a company's LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations.
- Administer networks by evaluating network performance issues including availability, utilization, throughput, planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, and testing of equipment; defining network policies and procedures; establishing connections and Firewalls.
Requirements:
- Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager, Contact Center and Unity Connection is big plus.
- Hands on experience with layer 2/3 protocols like STP, VTP, Cisco VSS/SWV/Stacking technology, and Cisco Nexus series. Routing protocols like OSPF, BGP and EIGRP, security protocols like SSL and IPSec/NAT is required
- Strong ability to identify, determine and document customer requirements
- Ability to provide technical support to end-users.
- Solid written and verbal communication proficiencies, quick learning abilities and self-motivated team player.
- Native/fluent German speaker with business English knowledge.
