Statement of Work:Incident Management:
? Resolve single- and cross technology incidents independently.
? Work with team members to resolve unusually complex or cross technology
incidents.
Escalation Management:Work with others to help manage escalations through customer
mid management level.
Problem Management:
? Proactively and reactively look or solutions to prevent problems from occurring in
team/technology area.
Change Management/ Implementation:
· Independently review, implement, and verify changes/solutions of high complexity
and risk to meet customer infrastructure needs.
· May participate in a Change Advisory Board.
· Own move to production responsibly (create maintain Ops Guide/Manual and
troubleshooting guides, handover to bare metal run)
Operations Maintenance:
· Perform maintenance for backend infrastructure (e.g. AV, Monitoring, Reporting,
etc.)
Patch and Security:
· Analyze patches for compatibility with the infrastructure environment.
· Develop, implement and maintain automated patch procedures.
Configuration Management:
· Ensure Configuration Management Database (CMDB) entries are complete and
accurate.
Solution Design:
· Apply common solutions to meet highly complex customer infrastructure needs.
Quality:
· Provide continual Improvement recommendations for direct responsibility area
(process improvement, technical standard updates, automation, etc).
Project Management:
· Participate and propose projects across technology, customers and/or end users
areas, including transformation.

2. Technical IT Infrastructure Author & Consultant ? replacement/Attrition
Position
Technical Author & Consultant analyzing a complex environment to prepare and support
migration and harmonization activities.
This includes developing the solution and preparing corresponding technical
documentation.
Relevant products are VMWare, MS Server Systems and related tools (refer to list
provided in addition).
? Location : Friedrichshafen / Immenstaad, Ottobrunn or Ulm
? Duration : 6 months
? German Citizen only
? Permanent position preferred
Minimum experience / Skills required (not beginner)
? Required: Expert knowledge, know-how about complex solutions, in ideal case
experience on enterprise level, but motivation and very good education may
compensate a lack of experience
? Not suitable: High-level, theoretical understanding only; only know-how about
simple / standard solutions; only experience in small business e.g. with small, out of the
box standard implementations
