OSS Tester/OSS testing/Testing/OSS/Telecmmunications
My client, a large consultancy, is in need of 2 OSS Testers for a 6 month rolling contract based in Munich, Germany.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the testing life cycle, hands-on Experience on test case writing, reviewing, test case execution, log analysis, defect reporting and co-ordinating with clients/vendor teams, analytical troubleshooting skills, administration of OSS applications and proactive scheduling (automation) of daily, weekly and monthly maintenance tasks, control data flow from the network to the OSS System and plan the corrections and extensions to the OSS accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and performing action plans/tasks for future software and hardware upgrades in the OSS in line with customer account teams, hands-on experience on Network Operation Centre personnel (GNSC CM, PM and FM users) in the use of the OSS and its features, expert knowledge of UNIX and Linux Operating System user, Oracle DB SQL, knowledge and Understanding of OSS tools - Xakta, CPCM, APT, UTS, ATOLL, Netsite, OMC & NMS, PreHCM, SON, STS+, Talend, TCM & INN (Added Advantage), testing experience of the OSS tools and knowledge of relevant system interfaces & protocols, strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, HTTP, Perl DBI and SNMP protocols and port mapping, good communication skills, proactive and a team player, English language skills in speaking and writing, German language skills will be added advantage.
