Role: Informatica Admin
Location: Munich, Germany
Position type: Contract

Primary Experience:

  • Overall 8+ Years of IT experience and minimum 5+ years of experience in Administering Informatica Server (experience on version Informatica 10.0 and above is good to have).
  • Responsible for administration of Information Server including starting and stopping of Informatica services, checking logs and server housekeeping activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Informatica server and End user clients. Work with Informatica vendor and Infra team if required to resolve issues independently.
  • Work on regular backups, monitoring etc. and automate these.
  • Create and Manage repository and create folders for users, groups, assign rights and privileges etc.
  • Assist ETL developers with issues related to access, configuration or any other infrastructure related issues.
  • Manage Informatica Servers by monitoring disk space, memory, CPU etc. and Manage licenses.
  • Experience with ETL Code deployments (repository, folder, workflow and mapping level etc.).
  • Ability to work Independently, Customer facing and strong communication and analysis skills is mandatory.

Secondary Experience:

  • Good to have basic knowledge on Unix admin, OS, SQL Queries and database administration.
  • Experience with installation and upgrade of Informatica PowerCenter (Metadata Manager, IDQ, and PowerExchange) would be a plus
  • Development experience on building ETL and Data quality rules using PowerCenter and IDQ will be plus.
