For our customer in North Rhine-Westphalia we are looking as soon as possible (latest 15.10.2018) for a Data Lake Consultant (m/f).
Your tasks:
- Design and implementation of new use cases on a Data Lake Platform (Azure Public Cloud)
- Monitoring, securing stable operations of the Data Lake Talend infrastructure and existing use cases
- Implementation of Data Governance (Data Catalog) concept for a Data Lake
- User Access Management (Database, Azure Resource Group and Resource Level) and Linux server administration, troubleshooting
- Database administration (Azure SQL Database, Azure SQL Datawarehouse, Snowflake)
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on IT and business side
- Act as interface between a Data Lake Team and Cloud Management Center, external infrastructure and software suppliers and vendors (e.g. DXC, Microsoft, Talend)
- Participation in the PoCs and pilots, support the team in extending data ownership to new areas
Your qualifications:
- Data Lake and Linux Know-How
- Azure Public Cloud is a must
- Fluency in English
