My client based in Germany URGENTLY requires a Senior VDI Lead for a 3-6 month rolling contract,
Skills:-
* Excellent Citrix VDI experience with ability to manage end user issues and support high number of VDIs.
* In depth understanding in Citrix XenApp (all versions), XenDesktop, Web Interface and other Citrix Components.
* Very good understanding & troubleshooting skills of Citrix Access Gateway, NetScaler.
* Advanced troubleshooting skills of Citrix products.
* Experience on Store Front, Provisioning Services, Citrix Director, Studio and Profile Management.
* Experience in making recommendations for leveraging system installation and reducing operating costs
* Should have good troubleshooting skills on the profile and group policy management
* Publishing applications in Citrix and application virtualization using AppSense and/or Microsoft App-V
* Must have very good knowledge in Edge sight configuration, reporting & analysing the reports.
* Apart from Citrix XenApp, understanding of other core Citrix Components with related to Microsoft Technologies like Active Directory, GPO and TS/RDS is required.
* Manage Citrix Components like secure gateway.
* Ability to demonstrate superior organisational skills with an acute attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in time-sensitive situations and prioritise multiple projects with similar deadlines
* Complex problem troubleshooting and root cause analysis
Bonus skills:-
* Experience in Citrix Administration with both XenApp and XenDesktop with multiple sites and farms.
* Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and XenDesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
* Good knowledge of Citrix PVS 7.6 and 6.1
* Should be able to resolve most complex issues related to Citrix components (Web Interface, XML Broker, Load Elevator, IMA, and Data store)
* Expert on multiple versions of Citrix and strong experience of Citrix Secure gateway/Web Interface/NetScaler
* Strong understanding of Load Manager, Resource manager and installation manager.
* Should have very good knowledge in Application Streaming, App sense & App-v.
* Demonstrate sound judgement and ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision and direction is required in order to perform professional and organisational responsibilities.
* Excellent oral and communication skills to interact and work with global IT teams (EU based) & end customers.
