Desktop and Laptop Support Lead
Location: Essen, Germany
Job Type: Contract.
Skills:
- Expert knowledge and hands-on desktop support for hardware and software problems on desktop and laptops
- Expert knowledge supporting a blended Windows and MAC environments, including common user applications
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2007 or later, Outlook in and Exchange Environment, Internet Explorer, basic hardware issues, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices both in person and remotely
- Experience troubleshooting LAN, server and connectivity issues
- Experience utilizing a ServiceNow for incidents and requests
- Working knowledge of hardware components, hardware configurations and software
- Configure workstations for new users and upgrade existing device and software
- Provide support and troubleshooting service to VIP remote users
- Administrate MS Active Directory accounts and groups
- Provide remote printer troubleshooting and support
- Vendor coordination and service level management experience.
- Understanding of best practices, with respect to security and compliance.
- Experience authoring and updating technical documentation.
- Knowledge of new and emerging technologies
- Plan and oversee daily activities of entry-to-immediate level team members
