For our customer in North Rhine-Westphalia we're looking for a DevOps Specialist (m/f).
Project tasks:
- You will analyse the current application server environment on premise and in cloud with the focus on certain middleware products and application services
- You will work out detailed migration plans for each applications to be able to migrate to new platforms
- You will implement necessary server configuration changes, migrate certain applications to cloud or help rebuilding server platforms on premise depending on the agreed migration strategy
- You will coordinate the transition of productive email boxes to a new platform
- You will help creating test plans for these migration activities
Skills required:
- Fundamental experiences in a release and deployment tool like Team City or similar
- Working knowledge of Amazon Web Services
- Installation and configuration of various middle ware products, Tomcat, Hibernate, IIS, Java Runtime, Rabbit MQ or Active MQ, Kafka or equivalent products
- Version Control tools like Subversion, GIT, Stash
- Fundamental development skills in Power Shell
- Good working experiences for Windows and Linux server
- Good working experiences of clustered server environments
- Good working experiences of monitoring tools like Nagios
- Implementation of Windows 10 clients, MS Excel 2016, Office 365
- Experience in data center migration projects
- Experiences with CHEF and Ansible - desirable
- AWS Certifications to professional level - desirable
