For our client, a trusted leader in market research present in over 100 countries, we are looking for the area Nuremberg for a SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR (m/w) Devops Environment initially until 31.12.2018 with option of exension.

Scope of Project: 

The specific project team is part of the client's Technology and Data department and responsible to develop and maintain a sustainable, scalable, distributed and cloud aware web platform that supports market insight data to their retailer customer.

Tasks:


  • Systems Administration Windows/ Linux 

  • Programming in Python, Ruby, Groovy or Java, optional .Net
    - Set up and supporting CI/CD (Continuous Integrity/ Continuous Development)

  • Maintenance and Monitoring of the systems



Requirements:


  • You are an experienced DevOps or Site Reliability Engineer with a passion for cloud infrastructure and automation.
    - You’re a self-starter and you love keeping up to date with the latest developments in cloud, configuration management and container technologies.
    - You understand the benefits of an immutable infrastructure and you enjoy enabling self-service deployments through continuous delivery pipelines.
    - However, you have a head for operations and you know that security, backups, scalability and resilience are a paramount concern.

  • In fact, you have a keen interest in security and you’re always looking for ways to use infrastructure-as-code

  • Expert in Windos/Linux administration skills and deep understanding of networking and TCP/IP
    - Execellent experience with AWS and Terraformstrong knowledge in virtualization technologies (e.g. VMWare)

  • Excellent automation tool experiences (Ansible & Terraform)
    - Proficiency in a high level programming language such as Python, Ruby, Groovy or Java, .Net (optional)
    - Demonstrable skills in a Configuration Management tool the client uses Ansible
    - Set up and supporting CI/CD pipelines and tooling such as Jenkins.
    - Monitoring, log aggregation and alerting tooling (Cloudwatch, New Relic, Splunk, ELK).
    - Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes.

  • Fluent written and spoken English
