German Speaking Help Desk/Service Desk Analyst - Remote

Location: Remote
Duration: Short term contract
Must be fluent in both English and German language
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Global client of ours for a German Speaking Help Desk/
Service Desk Analyst on a short-term contract basis. This role will be based Remotely
You will be providing first line support to both European (German) and UK clients, resolving queries, some of a technical nature, or logging and transferring (and monitoring to successful conclusion) for more in-depth support.
The German Speaking Help Desk/Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:
- Accepting Help Desk, Service Desk requests and calls coming into the IT department from English and German speakers
- Handling requests in line with SLA's and escalating up to 2nd/3rd line where necessary
- Provide remote user support
- Experience of supporting software applications or helpdesk/desktop experience, must have some technology knowledge
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft Desktop operating system's (XP, Windows 7 and Windows 8)
- Knowledge of MS server technologies (server 2008, Active Directory, IIS, exchange 2010 and SQL 2012)
- Excellent communications skills with a customer focussed attitude
Call Centre, help desk or Service Desk experience is essential.
Must be fluent in both English and German language
