As a Consultant…
• you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle
• You will be intensely involved in

• You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope
• You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape
Key responsibilities:
• Lead and participate in client engagements on one or more of Infosys’s Test Consulting service offerings which includes, QA Transformation, QA/Test Maturity Assessments, QA/ Test Process (TCOE) Design and Implementation, Program Test Strategy Definition and Technology QA Consulting (covering Test Infrastructure and tools)
• Support /Own problem definition in order to define and document the problem and develop high-level solution. Designing and implementing solutions to meet business requirements, and communicating those designs effectively through specifications
• Formulate and lead the implementation of right-fit Test Automation Strategy and approach for end-to-end automated testing
• Author, build and adopt cross-functional, scalable and flexible test automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across User Interface, Middleware and back-end integrations
• Deep understanding of different test automation frameworks – Model based techniques, Hybrid, BDD and technology stack
• Addresses complex test automation scenarios and provides strategic solutions to improve the automation testability
• Consult on Agile testing and Shift-left strategy with focus on CI/CD, Continuous testing
• Effectively collaborate with Application architecture teams to improve automation testability of the applications by participating in Application reviews and proposing the Design for Automation requirements
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices (including emerging ones like Service Virtualization, Robotic Process Automation, Cloud, Mobility etc.) and find applicability and opportunities to deploy in projects
• Advisor to the Client Test Automation Managers to initiate and implement organization wide Test Automation initiatives
• Monitors the adherence to the defined automation standards and promote the Test Automation practices by conducting automation workshops and brainstorming sessions with the project teams
• Create and maintain Test Automation related documents (like strategy documents, feasibility reports, automation templates, guidelines)
• Ensure process improvement and compliance in the assigned module and participate in technical discussions/review
• Develops and maintains a productive working relationship with project sponsors, customers, vendors and other key stakeholders
• Develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
• Review the solution options developed by team and suggest improvements in order to get customer buy in for the suggested alternatives
• Assist the team in preparation and planning for the technical workshops, deliver trainings capture inputs for continuous improvements
• Review the proposals prepared by team, provide necessary guidance /input, analyze the solution for the business problem with a view to proactively identify risks and possibilities of scope creep and ensure accurate estimates for the engagement in order to create the proposal for engagement
• Study process and knowledge management processes in place at the customer, work with the customer to develop repository
• Resolve escalate issues and communicate with clients effectively in order to resolve customer issues with greater efficiency and accuracy
• Perform project management activities wherever needed in some cases like project plan development and deployment, monitor progress as per plan and manage /track project delivery. Also manage operational activities
• Develop and publish leading view-points, contribute to thought leadership, participate in relevant external marketing events in order to build brand, new customer pipeline through marketing initiates
• Should be able to work with multiple customers and engagements during the different phases of their deployment and pro-actively engage with the clients to update the action items and the status of projects. Should work with minimal supervision
• Work with the client’s leadership team in prioritizing the recommendations and building a roadmap for implementing the recommendations
• Evaluate the suitability of tools and solutions to address specific problems of the client, recommend the best-fit solutions and work with the client’s teams in solution implementation
• Work with the Client Services team in enhancing the client relationship by offering value-added test consulting solutions
• Lead solution definition in pursuit of opportunities in Testing Center of Excellence and other consulting service offerings
• Must be fluent in German and English reading and writing skills
• Travel – Based on business requirements, candidates should be willing to undertake short term/long term travel assignments
Required
• Prior experience in TCoE Assessments, Design and Implementation
• Knowledge of any one of industry standard assessment methodology (TMMi, CTP etc.)
• Hands on knowledge of Test automation tools (HP ALM/TOSCA, Selenium, SOAP UI etc.)
• Hands on programming language experience (C#, Java etc.)
Preferred
• Certified in any industry standard assessment methodology (E.g. TMMi)
• Client facing experience
• Participation in software testing conferences (as speaker)
• Experience in Presales activities (Proposals/Oral presentations)
