Our client is looking for an IP Core Network Engineer to provide high level support to their network.
*Actively participate to the evolution of the core network ( some design/architecture)
*Implement new solutions/migrations
*Optimise capacity management
*Operate - maintain IP core network HW and SW
*Resolve incidents - troubleshooting (incl. 24/7 on call plan)
*Transfer knowledge within the team for your area of expertise
*Interact with other technical teams
You will need:
*Expert in IP network with at least 5 years of experience
*Strong knowledge on: Cisco (including ASR), Juniper, Huawei, products
*Expert of IP Networking including routing protocols
*Experienced in setting up and operating Routers, Switches and Firewalls
*Motivation to share expertise towards the other core network team members.
*Good (B2 minimum) German Language skills are required.
