We are searching for an IT Consultant for our customer project:IT Consultant Security Compliance Reporting m/w
Location: Rhein-Neckar region
Start Date: 01.08.2018
End Date: 31.12.2018 ++
The Consultant will be in charge to support our customers' LoBs and Enterprise Security Teams in monitoring and improving the configuration security compliance rate of IT and Cloud Infrastructure. This will be done in close alignment with the effected LoBs by using the existing security monitoring tool (Bladelogic) to continuously improve the security level for the company and customers globally.
The Enterprise Security is globally responsible for the IT Security Framework for the IT and Cloud Units.
Tasks:
Responsibility to
- support the security monitoring team (Bladelogic) in coordinating, moderating and the activation of the security compliance checks in newly onboarded LoBs
- continuously improve security compliance rate of LoB’s and Cloud units by organizing regular alignment meeting and by defining follow-up improvement measures
- actively collaborate with and support our customers' IT and Cloud-operating organizations to drive security
- validate and regularly report on the company‘s Cloud & IT projects, landscapes and solutions by using the implemented security monitoring tool (Bladelogic).
- manage and drive the creation of mitigation plans and follow up their implementation.
Qualification/Compentencies/Skills:
Good theoretical & practical knowledge in the area of IT Security.
Good knowledge on IT infrastructure technologies, such as network technologies
Knowledge in software security (authentication mechanisms, cryptography, system and network security, security breaches…) is an advantage
Experience with automation tools like BladeLogic Server Automation, Ansible, Puppet, Chef etc. WORK EXPERIENCE Professional experience of 1-2 years in the field of Information Technology (preferably IT security)
Good theoretical & practical knowledge in the area of IT System Operations
Good knowledge on IT infrastructure technologies, such as operating systems
Graduate in Computer Science, Software engineering or equivalent
Quick Learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed
Very good spoken and written English
Very strong communication skills in English (moderation, motivation, de-escalation)
