PCB Layout Engineer with Mentor DxDesigner/Expedition (m/f)

For our client, Europe's largest Engineering company we are looking for a - PCB Layout Engineer (m/f) on a freelance/temporary basis for Munich, Germany
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 12 Months +
Location: Munich
Contract Type: Temporary preferred, Freelance considered with right profile
Languages: English (German nice to have)
Our client has recently acquired multiple work packages from various end customers and requires a PCB Layout Engineer to help design floorplans, implementation of new techniques and processes for design in addition to daily tasks.
Main Tasks:
* Design and document complex printed circuit boards conforming to IPC and industry standards from schematics, parts lists, and functional requirements supplied by electrical and mechanical design team.
* Generate and maintain PCB specifications
* Work together with in house Engineers in routing high speed interfaces.
* Utilizes CAD system to prepare drawings and layouts as related to job.
* Provide training to engineers and designers including schematic capture and Mentor software
Requirements:
* Professional experience with PCB from an Electrical Engineering perspective
* Deep technical knowledge of Mentor tools DXDesigner/Expedition
* Expert in the PCB design process: schematic capture, layout, generation of design files, BOMs, and release and revision control to ERP.
* Knowledgeable in switched-mode power supply PCB design constraints
* Knowledgeable in high frequency layout techniques for signal integrity, grounding, and impedance-controlled routing for high-speed DSP, FPGA, µC control and communications circuit boards.
Nice to have:
* Extensive experience utilizing a CAD library
* Knowledge of electronic components
* Experience installing CAD software
Languages:
Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
