IT Security Architect, Essen
Responsibilities
Participate in various projects to design and implement the security relevant topics
Align business and technology initiatives with the Groups standards, frameworks and regulations
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
Communicating with key stakeholders about IT security threats
Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Support the development and improvement of processes to embed security relevant topics into the operational processes.
Championing and educating the organization about the latest security strategies and technologies
Duration
The external position is planned for a 6 month period
The estimated starting date is July first. The function is based on a 40 hrs work week
Profile
At least 5 years of experience within a comparable role with IT security
Solid understanding on the current IT security
Deep knowledge on IT security standards and IT risk management
Experience with Project Management (PMI) and operational processes (ITIL)
Strong communicator and team player
Fluent in English required, additional European languages are considered a plus
Based in Essen, North-Rhein Westfalen. Other locations are open for discussion, but not preferred
