My client is is an innovative engineering and IT services company specializing in the development of complex systems - from concept to approval.
They are looking for a freelance Development Engineer working in Avionics.
- They develop and integrate complex control systems, devices and functions, eg for the following areas: Flight Control, Flight Display, Cabin Control, Navigation, etc.
- You create, review, analyze, and/or update system specifications
- They define the relevant communication and transmission protocols, input/output configurations as well as the interface architecture
- They plan test and validation activities for the software and hardware and develop test concepts in accordance with the required approval guidelines
- If necessary. support the required test activities
YOUR PROFILE
- You have a degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a comparable education as well as practical work experience
- They bring in-depth knowledge in the field of Embedded systems/microcontrollers
- They bring knowledge in hardware-related programming with eg C, C ++ or Assembler
- They are familiar with interfaces such as CAN, ARINC485, RS232, RS485, SSO, MOST, etc.
- You have relevant experience in software development according to DO178B and/or in device development according to DO160/DO254 or comparable MIL standards
- Ideally, you are familiar with the DOORS specification management tool
- They have analytical and structured thinking
- Enthusiasm for technology, teamwork and communication skills in German and English is required
